Fundraising at Work

Get your colleagues and company fundraising at work in aid of ClearVision. Spread awareness of the importance of reading for children and adults with vision impairment and put dual print and braille books in their hands.

There are several ways of giving through your workplace and here are just a few...

Payroll Giving

Give straight from your salary to support our work - and pay less. Payroll Giving is a simple way to make a regular donation to the ClearVision Project straight from your salary. It's simple - every time you're paid, your payroll department will deduct the agreed amount from your salary. Your donation is deducted from your gross pay before tax so it's hugely tax-efficient. If you decide to give £5, as a basic rate tax payer you’ll only pay £4 – the taxman makes up the remaining £1. If you are a higher rate tax payer, you’ll pay £3 and the taxman will make up the remaining £2.

Matched Giving

If you are taking part in a fundraising event then make sure you check with your company to see if they have a 'matched giving' scheme. This may mean that some or all of the money you raise is matched by your employer. A simple way to double your donation!

WorkPlace Events

From a bake sale to including braille games in your annual team building day, it's easy to get involved. You and your team could raise money to sponsor 10 books in the library with the team name included in each book and a thank you on our website! For ideas and support contact us on 020 8789 9575 or email us at fundraising@clearvisionproject.org.

Charity Of The Year

Lots of companies now ask employees to suggest and/or vote on a company charity of the year. Why not put ClearVision forward? We can support you with pictures, videos and books to demonstrate the impact of our work. This can raise awareness and funds at the same time. If you would like to put us forward then please contact us to discuss how we could work together to give children learning braille the support they need and deserve.
