ClearVision runs a postal lending library of children’s books designed to be shared by children and adults with and without sight. We lend books all across the UK and Ireland.

ClearVision books all have braille, regular print and pictures. This allows children with sight impairment to share books with their sighted friends and family. It also allows adult braille readers to enjoy stories with sighted children. There are over 10,000 books in the collection, catering for children from birth until they’re independent readers.

We also have the UK’s only loan collection of fully-textured tactile image books, in which every illustration is specially designed to be explored by touch. With ClearVision books, visually-impaired or blind children and adults can enjoy all the pleasure, comfort and excitement reading together brings.
